Let's make our clothes work for our body....instead of trying to make our body work for the clothes!

Have you ever been surfing through the internet, looked at a department store sale ad, or flipped through a magazine and thought, "Man, that dress is stunning! I absolutely MUST try it on!"

So, you get to the store or order the dress and get it on your body and you look in the mirror and......UGH! That is ALL wrong! I can't believe that this looks so different on the model!

So many of us immediately go to all of the things that are WRONG with our bodies! "Oh my gosh! My butt is so huge! or UGH! I wish my arms weren't so skinny! I HATE my body!"

We have to STOP! We have to stop hating ourselves and our bodies and start finding clothes that match our body! It's not about making our bodies fit the clothes...it's about finding clothes that fit our bodies!

So, let's talk about it! Before you can figure out which style of clothing will fit your body, you have to figure out which body style you have!

There are four main body styles:

  1. Pear Shape

The Power of Black in our Closet!

Raise your hand if you LOOOOOOOOVE to go to the store, you find a style that you feel BANGIN in annnnnnd......you go with the black version instead of a color? Me! Me! Me! My mom has always said, "You already have something like that in Black!" With the second release of the Noir Collection, all of the LuLaRoe community is a buzz! Black is back! It's here! Whenever we go to a pop-up, host open Shopping hours, or go to an event, the first thing many people ask is, “Do you have any black?”  Most of the time, we have to say, “No, we don’t. BUT, check out this beautiful shirt that has a black background and small print!”  So often, everyone is only there to shop for black. It lead me to start to do a little bit of research. I know that black goes with everything (well, almost everything) but other than that, I’m lead to this question... Why is black the most desired color for clothing? So, I started to search. The most important piece of information th...
